You're allowed to do it any time - The other side doesn't get to tell you they don't "allow" you to do anything. I'd say slugging with 5 gens for no reason is a scummy way to play, but don't get bullied into letting people go just because some random bully squad was salty that they couldn't bully you and got outplayed.
-
CJ's are easily counterable, pretty hard to pull off, and extremely predictable. CJ's are nothing like flashlight saves.
-
If you start out as killer, play 4 games, you will generally win all 4, why? Because new survivors are BAD. There is very little teamwork, most are usually solo-q, and it might be some of their first games. I ask that you play killer until you bring up your MMR enough on a killer to face good teams that have strategy and…
-
If the gates had been opened then no, but I believe since they as the player can't progress themselves it would be counted.
-
Removing hook grabs wouldn't even really make a difference generally, though I also think that they should completely removed the ability to hit a hooked survivor because I don't know how many times I have hit pretty much completely through the survivor attempting the rescue and hit the hooked survivor.
-
I just had a game where one survivor DCed because they went down early on, and then another DC because I downed them and walked away for a second in an attempt to find the little void thing, all in the same game. Then a game before that I had someone DC because they were the first hook. I don't camp tunnel, hell I didn't…
-
And that right there is the real problem. Adding indicators for what a survivor is doing is fine in my opinion as it doesn't really buff anything just kind of fixes the fact that Solo-Q has nearly no information compared to SWF, but anything past that any Solo-Q buffs will make the actual good players even stronger. The…

That's what I'm saying. Without the added bonus from Unbreakable and on a reasonable map it won't be that bad anyway but on a map like RPD where some areas only have one hook that's possible to reach without perks plus the addition of Unbreakable could make some games hell, where its near impossible to actually hook…
-
It was a MacMillan map, forget the name of the actual map though lol
-
As I had said in my post, I'm never playing spacebar simulator. If I'm healthy and not in any real danger of dying I'm not gonna just throw a pallet for fun, but at the same time I'm not gonna get myself trapped in basement in solo-q just because Rodney has a 20% chance of getting a little distance from that pallet at the…

Your team ALL went down to a Legion while only getting one gen done, seems like you and your team made some mistakes. Also, your entire team is on the ground and you're sitting there doing a generator, I mean yeah stick to gens sometimes but man not that much.
-
Yea I know I combined the two in my mind. Fixed it now finally. Rebecca / Leon, not just the one.
-
My bad my bad XD
-
I hate the game so much but I can't stop playing, 500+ hours and I plan to continue until the servers shut down.
-
I feel you with the mending, though I really don't think Legion needs a change. They are very good at slowing the game down but are not OP.
-
Ok, playing for multiple years doesn't mean you're going against good people though. You rank resets, not as bad as it used to, but it still can put you back down if you don't play killer enough for a long period of time. There's absolutely nothing wrong with not playing killer if you don't find it fun, but if you don't…
-
I think it's one of two options: Option 1: BHVR thinks she's fine, or doesn't want the backlash from nerfing her so she won't be nerfed Option 2: BHVR doesn't know how to nerf her enough without killing her completely so they're waiting. Of course I don't work at BHVR so I don't know anything but those are just my guesses,…
-
Ok once again, you play at very high ranks, you're gonna destroy. I'm not saying you've never played killer at all but if you haven't played blight past a couple games then you haven't faced good players. Going back to my example of when I started the game: My first game I loaded up as Hillbilly and absolutely demolished…
-
So you don't play killer.... But you just know how easy it is? Listen man I thought this way when I first started, I was a hard survivor main even back in the 2017 days when the game was most definitely survivor sided, all I can say to you is: Play killer. Don't just hop on one game, play until you get a decent rank and…
-
Swinging around corners does not mean no counterplay, though. Sure you can't just run a corner to avoid him like how you could with Billy but when he dashes he pretty much has to go in a straight line until he gets close enough to swing, and if he can't hit off of anything then he loses his chance to swing at all.
-
Sure, that's fine, but it's very important to talk about basekit as well because some killers the problem lies in their power, not just in the addons. I definitely think that some of his addons should be nerfed but I'm not asking about addons, I'm asking basekit.
-
Ok, but without addons, how is he OP? And after reading I know not everyone thinks that his basekit is, but you seem to, so I'm just wondering.
-
I think they could keep gens as the only objective and still toss up how they work a bit. Maybe different gens require different 'minigame' type objectives and some could even be left as they are now but having some that aren't would definitely help give some variety.
-
Sometimes you have to just commit to a chase. That doesn't mean tunnel the survivor to death and ignore all else but if every survivor is decent at looping then you just have to down them instead of switching survivors unless a good opportunity to slow down gens arises. As you face more and more good survivors you will…
-
As of right now I have Deathslinger but not the full DLC. I think Deathslinger is definitely a decent killer but if I were you I'd just grind out Iridescent shards for it.
-
At this point it's used as a way to describe a killer who will sit and stare at a survivor until they die, but yes ACTUAL facecamping was fixed long ago and sucked when it existed.
-
If the killer is facecamping or tunneling and instead of doing generators to progress the game, you're standing near him pointing at him, then when you die with no escapes that's not the games fault.
-
I think people say it's trash now because of the new-ish hatch spawning mechanic's where the hatch will only spawn when the last person is remaining instead of before where it would spawn when enough generators were completed.
-
It's been 3 since launch.
-
His dashes aren't impossible to dodge. Hug corners, stun him, etc.
-
No, definitely not, but a 3k is a victory for the killer, the 4k does reward with extra points and rank but is not something that will make or break your rank-up unless you did really bad anyway, but is that the survivors fault? I played about 5 killer games yesterday, I closed hatch about 3 times, 2 times I had one person…
-
Not saying you're doing anything wrong but DC or not I genuinely would rather be steamrolled by a killer than to have one stare at me while I do generators to escape. I play Dead by Daylight to use game mechanics and strategies to escape or end up dying, if my entire game consists of holding M1 then I simply don't want to…
-
Could be for points, could be just being toxic, who knows. As I said I will sometimes blind the killer even though I can easily escape just for the extra BP considering some games I'll bring a flashlight and will get almost no use out of it and want at least a little value from it.
-
This is why the game is so hard to fix for solo-q without making SWF OP and why its so hard to balance SWF without making the solo-q experience even worse than how terrible it is right now. If you're playing SWF and you end up with half of the team dead and multiple generator still needing to be repaired then you've lost,…
-
I actually don't think it'd be that OP if: A range requirement was added It deactivated after the last generator was completed MAYBE it could have to be activated by doing something
-
Listen as someone who usually tends to agree that BHVR has a hard time balancing the game and tends to favor survivors the hatch is not a problem at all. If you play solo-q you'll notice how sometimes its the only way to escape.
-
True true.
-
For the first one what exactly do you mean by "letting them go?" Like if I bring a flashlight I will sometimes blind the killer even if I'm almost out simply for bloodpoints.
-
Not even really his lunge, it just seems like his basic attack reaches very far sometimes, past where the animation shows it to be. I'd guess latency.
-
I said the map can be unfun as survivor, which I've found it to be especially if you're caught in some areas, but it is worse as killer as I believe at core the map is survivor sided. There are so many loops that have multiple pallets and windows right next to them and can take ages to catch a survivor at depending on…
-
Ok so I think there are two types: The smart, good way; and the toxic, bad way. The smart way is trying to eliminate people as fast as possible, which can be done one of two ways: You either choose to chase the person who has more hooks if multiple survivors are together, or simply going after the closest survivor…
-
It can definitely be terrible for both. It really varies depending on the type of team you go against as killer, and the killer you go against as survivor. There are a lot of stupid places in the map that favor one side or the other. There are many pallets that are better off being ignored than being used because they're…
-
For me there's just a MASSIVE amount of pallets and windows that are side by side. It seems like every single corner has a pallet or window and I've noticed this playing survivor as well. Don't get me wrong I've not lost every killer game or won every survivor game on the map and I really think it sucks for both sides in…
-
Posted after a KILLER match. Windows of Opportunity is a survivor perk, and knowing where the windows are wouldn't even help me when I have to loop certain tiles at least 3 times, only for another tile to be present right next to it. I'm not sure your point.
-
Ehh no. It doesn't guarantee a kill, endgame is completely nullified if the exit gates are left at 99%, just don't actually open them until everyone is ready to escape. But even if endgame is activated you can still escape with everyone if a rescue is done properly.
-
Ok, starting off, I prefer playing killer so don't use that "Oh you're just a salty survivor main" stuff on me because I'm far from it. I've been playing survivor more here recently due to having a friend I've been playing with and also the killer's atrocious queue time during the day where I live. I think that Legion…
-
Don't think he needs a change, not what I intend for this post to influence. I was just sharing my opinion lol. And you might not have been insinuating I want a change but that's just how I took it. Some people may, I don't.
-
I feel like you took my post in the exact way that I clarified twice that this post wasn't about lol. Legion has to chase survivors to get a 4k sure, but even if I escape the trial I still don't enjoy playing against him because whether it lets them win or lose most people I go against playing him won't continue a chase…
-
I'm so very confused as to how they tunneled. If you had some sort of video of it maybe they really were tunneling but to me right now it seems like they just made you mad by downing you so you decided to rant about them.
-
I'm not sure the best way to go about reworking his base kit but I definitely think he needs to be buffed at base and addons like tuft of hair and tombstone needs to be completely changed because unlimited tier-3 mori Myers is probably the most unfun thing to play against if you're actually trying to rank up.
